  As expected, a record number of students continue to turn to LSC-North Harris for its classes in more than 110 different academic and workforce programs. On the heels of a packed summer semester, 16,100 students enrolled in classes for the 2010 fall semester.

  David Smith, who has served Lone Star College-North Harris in various capacities since 2005, was recently named the dean of the Career Technology Division for the college.

• Academy of Lifelong Learning Sets September Schedule for Seniors - August 27, 2010

  In advance of the Aug. 30 start of the fall semester, Lone Star College-North Harris and Farouk Systems held a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the new CHI™ School of Cosmetology at Lone Star College-North Harris. The newly formed school is a first-of-its-kind partnership.
• Information Session for Popular Paralegal Studies Program Scheduled for Aug. 12 - August 02, 2010
  The Lone Star College-North Harris paralegal studies program will hold an information session on Thursday, August, 12 at the LSC-North Harris campus. The session will take place from 6-8 p.m. in ACAD-126 of the college's Academic Building.
